International Network of Sociology of Sensibilities 2nd RedISS Congress

The 2nd Congress of the International Network of Sociology of Sensibilities For many years researchers in Europe and Latin America have been questioning the production, management and re-production of social sensibilities, researching the connections between "emotions, body and society". These researches are developed in different fields, such as education, health, knowledge production, the mass media, entertainment, sexuality, public policies and economy, to name the most “visible” audiences.  In this context, the  Center for Research and Sociological Studies (CIES) and the Latin American Journal of Studies on Body, Emotions and Society (RELACES)  since 2016 have decided to organize meetings in Paris with researchers interested in sensibilities studies, to discuss and debate.
