 Threads new App via Instagram.  How to get #threads 

Make sure you have an Instagram account. They are free. You can join Instagram now from Facebook or as a new user if you do not already have an account. 

Then within Instagram, pick the magnifying glass option to Search

In the Search box type  threads    Please see screenshot below - and click on the pink ADMIT ONE ticket at the end of the search box
